Service

Service by definition is an act of helpful activity; help or aid. We at St. Thomas the Apostle are committed to serving others. Our students, faculty and staff perform both corporal works of mercy and spiritual works of mercy in our community. We are actively involved in aiding with the Missionaries of Charity by providing food and clothing for the homeless. Some of the service activities we participate in include: the “sandwich gang”, Thanksgiving food drive, Christmas toy drives, Baby bottle collections, school supply collections, and singing for the sick and elderly during the holidays. Our students whom are preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation complete 20 hours of volunteer service hours. All of our students complete service hours throughout the year as well.
