The students are made aware of the beauty of all of God’s Creation, and are instilled to care for His Creation. Our strong commitment to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and the Missionary Sisters of Charity, in downtown Miami, has given our students a strong devotion to the constant year round planting and harvesting of these gardens. We strongly believe that this dedication to charity has shown our students that the sacrifice and hard work in acquiring food for the poor can have an equal, if not, greater impact than other types of donations. The appreciation of nature and charity that St. Thomas the Apostle instills onto their students is an aspect we are extremely proud and committed to.
